For as long as I can remember I have been practicing my answers for the imaginary interview I give after I’ve done some world altering feat of amazement. I’m not sure who’s interviewing me but it’s someone like Barbara Walters or Oprah and I’m always super modest about the amazing thing I’ve done. “Oh Barbara…I just did what anybody in my situation would have done”, “Oprah, please, don’t you think likening me to Jesus is a bit much?”
I’m not sure what it is I’m going to do to get this interview but I can’t wait to find out. I practiced the interview all throughout my adolescence, into teenage-hood and all the way through my 20’s. I think I’m ready now.
I better go check my voicemail, just in case they called while I was writing this.
